When disaster hits the CLA is there. The Association has cleaned debris from the lake after countless storms and natural disasters.

Perhaps the best example of the CLA’s flexibility in responding to the lake’s needs occurred during the 2005 carp die-off. The publicity of the problem threatened to destroy the summer season on the lake including events at Chautauqua Institution. The CLA recognized the need for immediate action and focused all of its efforts on removal of the over 50,000 dead carp. The clean up was completed in time to save the 4th of July weekend and the summer recreation season.

These efforts and services are not without cost. That’s why we need your support. We graciously ask you to make a tax-deductible contribution to keep the CLA thriving. You can download the form from this site and send it in to us. No donation is too small; we all know that every little bit counts!
